The Product. Our commitment is to both satisfy you and provide you with highly valuable tools to leverage in your career search. Our resumes get attention by hiring authorities, our assessment interpretations give you an edge in determining fit, and our counsel is both strategic and tactical – tailored to your specific situation and needs. Final resume versions are provided in both Word and PDF versions and assessment results are offered in PDF. You are the brand – we can help you in your efforts to define, promote, and build upon your brand equity. Others may make an old resume look pretty and throw in a few adjectives for a cheap fee; we focus on delivering compelling and easily digestible content to hiring authorities with no time for fluff.
The Process. Our confidential, in-depth, and educational resume development process engages you directly to zero in on your unique professional self and core competencies; your resume must present your value proposition in a compelling way to your target audience. Upon engagement, you will forward your old resume or complete a resume preparation form, complete a career questionnaire and any other required pre-work and then spend from 45 minutes to 2 hours together (in person or on the phone) with Greg answering questions and telling your career story; if you do note currently have a resume and choose to verbally tell your story/accomplishments to Greg, more than one conversation may be required. Once a draft of your resume is completed, within 5-8 business days, you will provide feedback for final adjustments. The process is complete when you are completely satisfied with the result.
The Person. Some highly skilled resume writers and career coaches have no experience working for companies and thus no insight into the most up-to-date business thinking and practices, as well as hiring practices. For nearly 15 years, Greg has earned his living primarily via career and human resource consulting for a variety of small and Fortune 500 companies – partnering directly with HR management, department managers, and c-suite executives to meet their needs. In addition, Greg writes effective resumes for all levels of professionals and students, having completed many hundreds over the years. Greg’s motivation is helping others to achieve their professional potential. He takes on a limited number of clients at any given time in order to maintain the highest quality of service.
Unless otherwise noted (such as with seminars), clients are invoiced directly from Pay Pal by Core Choices Consulting (business account) for services discussed, agreed upon, and scheduled.
Resume. Our free, individualized project proposals will give you a firm price based on your professional history and on our perceived complexity of the work involved. Typical resume length is listed below. Our typical rates listed below are often fairly close to our proposal prices, which are non-negotiable.
Typical rates for premium resume service are:
Early Career / 1 Page Resume: $325.
Professional / 1-2 Page Resume: $445.
Mid Level / 2 Page Resume: $565.
Senior Level / 2 -3 Page Resume: $695.
Executive/ 2-3 Page Resume: $835.

Payment in full using a MasterCard, Visa, or check is expected prior to project start.
We believe our prices are extremely reasonable compared to the market for this type of intensive, customized work by a resume writer with a high level of expertise. If you choose to have your resume written for less, we wish you the best. Nearly 20% of our clients come to us with a resume they have paid someone else to prepare.
Rarely, a potential client can be better served by another resume writer with specialized expertise. In these cases, we would prefer to make a referral rather than commit to a poor fit.
Our rate is $275 per hour, billed in 30 minute increments, whether in-person or over the phone. This compares to our $350 per hour rate for corporate clients and our $550 per hour rate for conducting corporate trainings. We are generous with our time and will not bill for an additional 5 or 10 minutes here and there or for answering a quick question by phone. However, once a 15 minute mark has been reached, it will count as an additional 30 minute increment – so, at that point, it would behoove a client to complete the entire 30 minute increment.
We take on very few ongoing coaching clients as this can tend to enable inaction for those clients less motivated, less prepared, and seeking someone else to do their career search tasks for them. Therefore, to meet the greatest amount of need while containing costs, we have developed several topic areas, which are designed as 1 or 2 session modules, billed at $275 per hour, and listed on the left side menu bar – the descriptions will note the length, which is typically 1-2 hours per module.

Corporate - Outplacement, Assessments, Training, and Leadership Development.
As detailed in the paragraph under “Why engage us,” the resume development process is collaborative, with Greg taking the lead, but with a substantial time commitment from you. You will need to present Greg with an old resume or complete resume preparation form, answer a series of questions/pre-assessments, and engage in an in-person or telephone interview, typically lasting 1-2 hours. While not common, Greg may require more of your time for clarification or further dialog. Some early morning, weeknight, and weekend times are available for the nearly 50% of our clients who are currently employed. While generous with his time and showing a genuine kindness toward his clients, Greg expects your 100% commitment to the process.
Format & Revisions
Your resume will be provided in both Word and PDF versions as part of the price of the project. Other formats, CDs, or printed versions are available for an additional cost. Within 30 days of the completed resume, if there are a few minor revisions which are requested, they will be completed at no charge.
We have many folks who connect with us asking for a reduced rate to just “tweak” or “revise” their existing resume “slightly.” Some projects take more time and some take less time, but our baseline commitment to each project and already reasonable prices mean that we will not typically accept “revision” work. We will not compromise on the quality of our work.
While we have never been taken up on it, we maintain a 100% satisfaction guarantee.
To reiterate, you will receive a draft to peruse and offer thoughts regarding. Occasionally, there will be a section re-write at this juncture. Many of our clients are nearly 100% satisfied with the draft, but our goal is that each client is fully satisfied with the final product. As noted in a previous section, we will not charge for a few minor revisions requested within the first 30 days following the acceptance of the final product.
Many of our clients come by way of referral and our reputation our corporate clients cannot withstand even the slightest blight, so our incentive to please is very high.

This makes it sound as if Greg is a conceited person – which is nearly the opposite of who he really is as a person! However, Greg is committed to providing only top quality products and experiences for each client. He can be most effective in sharing his high level of expertise with a few individuals at a time and has learned that without clients who are also truly committed to and open to the process, it is not a wise investment for either party.
